While the DSM-IV TR guidelines give specific descriptions of the eating disorders, there are screening tests to help one determine if disordered eating is present. It is important to consider that if you feel that you are concerned enough about your pattern of behavior enough to take a screening test, it is worthwhile to speak to a family member, physician or counselor about the pattern of behavior.
